SWEATEMPLE platform changelog and update history

This changelog tracks product updates, content additions, compatibility adjustments, and platform improvements as they happen. Entries are grouped by update type rather than rigid version numbers, reflecting the platform’s continuous development cycle.

Content and Editorial Updates

Journal expansion - training methodology series. Added a focused set of journal entries covering cadence and resistance relationships, structured interval design, music and perceived effort, solo versus competitive training dynamics, and home ride space setup guidance. These entries support riders who want deeper understanding of training mechanics beyond session-level instructions.

FAQ restructuring. Reorganised frequently asked questions into clearer categories - account and access, ride modes, hardware setup, claim processes, marketplace, and safety. Added new entries addressing common misconceptions about progression mechanics and platform data collection.

Support section overhaul. Expanded troubleshooting coverage for sensor connectivity issues, browser compatibility, and claim activation failures. Added structured resolution paths for the most common support scenarios.

Ride Mode Improvements

Cyclum environment pacing refinements. Adjusted environment transition timing in Cyclum sessions to better match interval structure. Scene transitions during recovery windows now unfold more gradually, reducing visual intensity during rest periods. Peak interval transitions remain sharp and immediate.

Arena mode matching improvements. Updated competitive matching parameters to produce closer rider pairings based on recent session history rather than overall progression tier alone. Riders should notice more competitive matches with opponents closer to their current performance level.

Solo mode session library expansion. Added new session templates across short (15-20 minute), standard (30-45 minute), and extended (50-60 minute) duration categories. New templates include focused cadence-priority sessions and resistance-emphasis sessions alongside balanced formats.

Marketplace Updates

Category filtering improvements. Added refined filtering options for class templates including duration range, intensity level, and music genre tags. Marketplace browsing should feel more targeted for riders looking for specific session types.

Item detail pages. Expanded item descriptions to include creator information, usage statistics, and compatibility notes. Riders can now see how frequently a class template has been used before acquiring it.

Exchange functionality. Introduced exchange options for certain item categories, allowing riders to swap items they no longer use. Exchange terms and eligible categories are listed on each item’s detail page.

Platform Infrastructure

Sensor connectivity stability. Improved Bluetooth connection handling to reduce mid-session dropouts on devices with multiple active Bluetooth connections. Reconnection after brief signal interruptions now happens automatically without requiring manual re-pairing.

Session data reliability. Enhanced data buffering during rides to prevent session data loss during brief internet connectivity interruptions. Session data is now cached locally and uploaded when the connection restores.

Account recovery improvements. Simplified the account recovery process for riders who have both email and wallet credentials available. Recovery with wallet verification now completes in fewer steps.

Compatibility Notes

Browser support. Confirmed compatibility with Chrome 120+, Firefox 121+, Safari 17+, and Edge 120+. Older browser versions may continue to work but are no longer actively tested.

Mobile interface adjustments. Improved touch interaction responsiveness for marketplace browsing and session selection on tablet devices. Small-screen phone layouts received spacing adjustments for better readability.

Sensor firmware. Tested compatibility with recent firmware updates from major indoor cycling bike manufacturers. No issues identified. Riders who experience new connectivity problems after a bike firmware update should report them through support.

Documentation and Guidance

LIT Bike section refresh. Updated hardware setup guidance with clearer instructions for sensor pairing, fit adjustment, and ride space ventilation. Added a troubleshooting reference for common sensor issues.

Claim process documentation. Rewrote claim activation guidance with more specific step-by-step instructions and expanded troubleshooting for wallet connection failures and credential verification issues.

Privacy policy clarification. Updated data handling descriptions to more clearly explain what information is collected during ride sessions, how optional sensor data is handled, and what blockchain visibility means for wallet-associated data.

Content Quality and Editorial Standards

Writing standard application. Applied updated editorial standards across all platform pages. Reduced generic phrasing, strengthened practical guidance sections, and improved specificity in troubleshooting and setup documentation.

Image guidance. Standardised image formats across all pages to JPG with consistent sizing. Updated alt text across the site for better accessibility and descriptive accuracy.
